Equiped with autonomous machinery such as Caterpillar 793F trucks and Eprioc drills, newly open Iamgold Côté Gold mine's will become an industry's leader in the autonomy field. Expected to have over 30 years of mine life and offering camp site amenities, this mine is definitely a great place to work!

We are currently looking for a Mine Maitenance Engineer to complete the maintenance department planification team. 

The main tasks that will be entrusted to him are:

  • Facilitate and implement the standard work management process.
  • Participate in maintenance planning and scheduling.
  • Define, develop, monitor, and optimize asset maintenance strategies.
  • Create and track performance indicators for reliability and maintenance processes.
  • Develop business intelligence reports to identify top maintenance opportunities.
  • Collaborate on health, safety, and risk management procedures.
  • Develop life cycle cost models and oversee root cause analyses.
  • Assist in reporting, budgeting, and cost control for maintenance.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and provide engineering support for projects.

Compétences

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably mechanical engineering);
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the mobile maintenance industry;
  • Experience in asset reliability;
  • Mining experience, an asset;
  • Strong analytical and communication skills;
  • Ability to prepare accurate records and reports;
  • Bilingual in French and English, an asset;
  • Knowledge of Ontario mining act and regulations;
  • Familiarity with Occupational Health and Safety Programs.

Working conditions and benefits:

  • Work schedule of 14 working days, followed by 14 days off, alternating day and night. The work shifts are 12 hours;
  • Permanent full-time position;
  • Hourly salary between 46.00$ and 54.00$; 
  • Overtime paid (time and a half rate) for hours worked over 40 hours per week and for work performed on Saturday and Sunday;
  • Transportation allowance of 0.52$/km for the distance between your home and the mine;
  • Buses are available for the worker's transportation from Sudbury and Timmins (Expense account for travel between home and the bus stop offered by employer);
  • A parking is available near the site for workers who would like to drive to the site;
  • Room and board provided at the worksite;
  • Tools are supplied by the mine;
  • Work clothes and PPI are provided at the hiring;
  • Group insurance and pension plan;
  • Work clothing allowance biannualy!
